Here is another experience shared by one of our international patients. Mr Norman Byamukama from Uganda, an IIT student came to our dental clinic in South Delhi with terrible pain.
After clinical examination, we advised him for surgical extraction of his third molar. He underwent a painless and uneventful wisdom tooth removal surgery. Oral SubMucous Fibrosis – OSMF Treatment in India
OSMF stands for Oral SubMucous Fibrosis, is mostly present in South-Asian regions particularly in countries like India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, but it can occur in other populations as well. It is a precancerous condition in which there is thickening and stiffening of oral mucosa and if it is left untreated it has the potential to turn into oral cancer.
